The ESV exerts an influence on the development of financial management by participating in international cooperation in the EU, in Anglo-Saxon countries and in the Nordic countries.
We participate in international organisations, for example the International Federation of Accountants, Public Sector Committee (IFAC-PSC), the European Evaluation Association (EEA), the European Accounting Association (EAA), OECD, and the World Bank Institute (WBI). We assist institutions in South Africa and in the new members states of the EU to develop their financial management. Mr. Bo Dahlström is responsible for international operations.
